Yes, the ubiquitous "It – Girl" has reared ombre haired head again, this time for her Madewell collection. Unless you’ve been living under the proverbial rock, then you are sure to have already been inundated with the hype. With the collection hitting stores in September, her people have decided to thrown us a bone, and release the official Madewell ads! Only two for the time being, but perhaps more will emerge?
Anyway, they’re pretty minimal, simplistic, youthful and sweet. Not to mention, I love the font. The first is fantastic – needless to say, I am sold on that velvet Peter Pan dress before I have event tried it on! The blazer is an excellent neutral shade and the ideal autumnal piece. The polka dot top? So-so. And those velvet high waisted shorts? Oh yes, I am hoping that they will be mine.
Luckily for me, there is a Madewell store not too far from my humble abode – as for everyone else? I think the stores are solely in the USA. Maybe I’ll scoop up a few pieces to put on eBay. Any requests?
